Saya bukan seorang yang suka membeli secara online. Somehow bagi saya, aturcara membelek, mencuba, memadankan baju di badan, beratur lama untuk membayar...itu semua yang membuat pengalaman membeli itu menjadi indah.


But not since Anis introduced me to this blog, TyracShop.

Langsung *gedebuk* jatuh cinta, I absolutely love the collections! Apalagi sekarang I am in the mood for maxi dresses, and guess what...the maxi dresses are to die for!


Semenjak itu, Anis and I akan sisihkan sedikit waktu almost everyday, discussing which dress yang kami suka. Seriously, the owner of TyracShop, she has great taste. Tak tahan lagi, I email her to buy 1 dress. Tup-tup, bila dapat her reply email, tengok-tengok...Kak Alysha, my senior from SSP! What a small world!



Besides having a great collection to choose from, sesudah saya bandingkan dengan beberapa online store lain, TyracShop also offers the best lowest price. And ada discount some more for return customers!

And the dresses fits plus-sizes! A must of course, for me :-)



Since then, I have bought a couple more dresses from her. She offered to drop by my office to deliver those dresses straight to me, thus saving me from paying the postal charges. Great service!

Day 1 and 2 - Enjoying Jakarta

9 hari di ibu negara Indonesia.

Banyak yang bertanya, buat apa sebegitu lama di situ? Best ke pergi Jakarta?

Yang paling ditanya, tak takut ke? Nanti kena sweeping ke apa ke? Even my mom was sceptical. No such thing happened, Alhamdulillah. Not that I expect anything would :-) We were treated with nothing but upmost respect.

Alkisahnya...

Day 1, 24th October 2009


Tiket berharga RM75 return membawa kami terbang ke sana! Terima kasih Air Asia! Muah Muah!

Flight kami from KL arrive in Jakarta about 2.30pm, then menunggu flight Naem dari Singapore yg sampai jam 3pm. Dijemput Bimo, teman abang Aie, tuan rumah kami sepanjang di Jakarta. She suggested kami berkelana dulu keliling Jakarta sebelum ke rumah, sebab rumahnya agak jauh jadi nanti kalau nak keluar lagi, malas.

So first stop, Grand Indonesia!


Dinner at Food Louver, the food court in Grand Indonesia Shopping Town. Mall yang uber-keren di tengah bandaraya Jakarta. Sangat besar sampai 10 hari pun tak boleh jajah setiap inci. Haha. The guy beside me is Bimo, our driver for the first 2 days. Selama di sana, berganti supir sebanyak 3 kali. If you come to this mall, please do check out the food court. Cool sangat!


Interior design Grand Indonesia direka dengan theme2 berbeza di setiap pelusuk. Ada train station, ada jambatan gantung, ada Marakkesh garden, ada Japanese garden, rasa macam nak ambil gambar di setiap sudut!

Dah berkali-kali ke Jakarta tapi inilah pertama kali berkunjung ke Monas! Malam minggu dipenuhi warga Jakarta, feels like every inch of the ground is covered by people.


The National Monument (Indonesian: Monumen Nasional (Monas)) is a 422 ft (128.7 m) tower in Central Jakarta, symbolizing the fight for Indonesia's independence. Construction began in 1961 under the direction of President Sukarno and the monument was opened to the public in 1975. It is topped by a flame covered with gold foil.

Roti bakar Eddy yang legendary. Warung tepi jalan yang sangat terkenal sehingga sudah membuka francaise di beberapa sudut kota Jakarta. Selain berjualan roti bakar, ada bubur ayam, pempek, siomay, sate...macam-macam ada!

Day 2, 25th October 2009

Breakfast makan Yamin! hue hue hue...

According to Aie, it's similar to Mie Ayam, cuma bezanya kalo Mie Ayam pakai kecap masin, Mie Yamin pake kecap manis.

Yang penting, eunakkkk!!



Ditambah pula dengan Sate Ayam. Yes, we had sate for breakfast. :-D


Makan 7 orang tapi macam kenduri sekampung. Astaga. Licin licau macam menjilat pinggan! *geleng kepala*

Selanjutnya, destinasi idaman setiap wanita, ITC Mangga Dua! Hahaha...no photos here, coz we all went crazy, tapi masih terjangkau dek akal. Damage on me, only 2 bags, and 3 tops. See? Not so crazy, kan kan kan?

For lunch, hoka-hoka bento yang ku rindui!

Done with Mangga Dua, meredah kemacetan bandaraya Jakarta, menuju ke Pondok Indah Mall. Beli CD, buku-buku...


Dan minum air tebu yang semanis saya. :-p

Malaysia, top country to visit in 2010!

Lonely Planet puts country among best-value places to visit





LONDON: Malaysia is among world’s best-value destinations, according to travel guide firm Lonely Planet.

The British-based company, in its Best In Travel 2010 guide, said Malaysia “is a clever choice for travellers on the lookout for a bargain”.

Thanks to the economic crisis, Iceland and London were also among the top 10 destinations, which included Thailand, South Africa, India, Mexico, Bulgaria, Kenya and Las Vegas,

The annual snapshot book captures “the world’s hottest travel trends, destinations, journeys and experiences for the year ahead”, Lonely Planet said yesterday.

The economic collapse in Iceland meant the island was no longer punitively expensive, said the guide, putting the beleaguered country at the top of its best-value list.

Thailand, at number two, remained “perennially good value”, said the book.

Meanwhile, London’s days as a costly destination were now over, Lonely Planet said, thanks to the exchange rate which made it “much more affordable for visitors from abroad”.

The top 10 countries overall for travellers were El Salvador, Germany, Greece, Malaysia, Morocco, Nepal, New Zealand, Portugal, Suriname and the United States.

The top 10 cities were Abu Dhabi, Charleston (South Carolina), Cork (Ireland), Cuenca (Ecuador), Istanbul, Kyoto (Japan), Lecce (Italy), Sarajevo, Singapore and Vancouver (Canada).

Bali (Indonesia), Goa (India), Koh Kong (Cambodia), Southern Africa and southwest Western Australia featured among the top 10 regions. — AFP

Saya pulang tanpa dendam dari Jakarta Ahad lalu.

And as much as I want to give you a detailed entry about what we did, what we ate, who we met, where we went to...

Ada kerja setimbun yang membutuhkan perhatian segera.

In a nutshell, we had fun.

Spent a lot. Mangga Dua, Tanah Abang, JCC, Grand Indonesia, Pondok Indah Mall, Plaza Semanggi, DeModa Fatmawati, Taman Anggerek Mall, Citos, FX, EX...lost track already.

Ate a lot, definitely...oh icecream coklat di The Buffet yang bikin kangen! Oh Hokben! Oh ketoprak! Oh Yamin! Oh konro bakar! Oh coto makassar! Oh ikan bakar! Oh! Oh! Oh!

*orgasmic*

Mom is soooo impressed with Jakarta, she's already planning the next trip even before we left.

She's fallen in love with Jakarta, as do I.

Jakarta, We'll definitely be back.





And I, have fallen even deeper in love with Encik Pacar. Love u full!

Going Home

Last day in Jakarta.

Spent whole 9 days here. I shopped, I travelled, I learnt new things, I saw new places, I catch up with old friends, I met new people...

And, I got a reload of Tender Loving Care from Encik Pacar, who made a surprise impromtu trip to see me. *wink wink*

After a very refreshing trip, am actually quite glad to be going back home. And, weird enough, am actually missing kantor!

Membaca blog Zahiril Adzim pagi ini membuat pipi rasa tertampar. Perit. Simple saja topiknya, tentang kebolehan mendengar, bukan setakat didengari.

Hanya untuk memperdengarkan cerita.

Maafkan sering lupa mengucap TERIMA KASIH kepada kalian yang sering sudi mendengarkan saya disini. Without you, saya sama seperti orang yang berteriak-teriak sendiri di dewan kosong. Bergema, lantang...tapi tak ada yang mendengarkan.

Encik Pacar, yang sering saya paksakan untuk dengari saya, namun seringkali saya terlupa, dia juga mahu didengar.

Kitt: Why a handbag? I can buy you other things, jeans ke, books ke...kenapa nak handbag juga? You've tonnes of handbags already. Tell me, why do you need ANOTHER handbag?
Me: Well, because, a handbag is timeless.
Kitt: You already have something timeless. My love.
Me: Ummmmhhh... (like, how do you argue with that??)
Kitt: Tell me.
Me: Because, I want to show off.
Kitt: Okay. The bag will be yours.

Sana Sini Situ

Baru sedar macam jarang update. Haha. Bukan apa, kadang feeling macam dah update tapi ternyata tu kes baca Along yang update! Hahaha...and she writes it much much better than I ever could maka saya jadi minder. Hish.
